about the Owners

About the server and the guys who own/ run the thing.

We all work at Network Operations Centers. This is our full time ++ jobs, we started the neverwinter server years ago when there was little to do at work, things were good and we played games waaaaay too often =).

Update to 2004, work for all of us has increased and all of our love for gameing in general has been washed away, replaced with coding, customer support and advertising, among other things.

I hope you all enjoy the server, I have kept an eye on it from time to time still, and see its growth.

Its growth has perplexed me and I debate what I can do to help you all continue playing and having fun. I am open for comments and would love to hear what you all think.

PvP script

This is the Player versus Player killstats search. Put in your characters name you play with on arena.blacksun.net and it will tell your total body count.

PvP webscript

I finished the script last week and never posted info for it.

It has no front end so, it is only 1/2 done.

new module

looks like there is a new nwn module out there, I will delay the integration of the PvP arena until i can update the moduel the server is running.

forums and more

I cleaned up and modified an existing template "ashGrundge" for the forums. Modifications included the logo manipulation and a menu system for the website to go between forums and the neverwinter weblog.

arena server

I finished the arena server, arena.blacksun.net port 5121 (standard port). try it out, it will log your PvP kills, and its rather fun.

The next step is the web interface for top players.

]]> i developed the arena server from a pre existing pvp map, add a working pvp signpost, and then its all on me to develop and configure the system for the logging and reporting of the PvP kills on the web.
